So, every once in awhile, we all get that chain email survey thing, right? so, why not just post it on my blog instead? this way if i get another one in the future, i can just cut and paste it from here :) I am so smart!


1. What is your occupation? High School English Teacher


2. What color is your underwear? at this moment, boring black ones.

3. What are you listening to right now? the crickets outside my window


4. What was the last thing you ate? a hot fudge sundae with Haggen Daaz Smores and Vanilla ice cream on top of a piece of Sara Lee pound cake. That sounds grosser than it actually was--it was quite yummy!

5. Do you wish on stars? if i see the first star of the evening and it is a bright one, yup!

6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? fuzzy wuzzy brown

7. How is the weather right now? a clear night, probably high 60s?

8. Last person you spoke to on the phone? My very very good friend Suzanne.

9. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Caroline is a super lady, so that would be a YES!

11. Favorite drink? non alcoholic--iced tea. Alcoholic--Orange vodka with cranberry juice

14. Do you wear contacts or glasses? both. my eyes SUCK!

18. What was the last movie you watched? The last partial movie--the first 20 minutes of Sin City--it was too weird for me, so i left. The last full movie was White Noise--i read through most of it, so does it sitll count?

19. Favorite day of the year? Christmas!

20. What do you do to vent anger? cry--that is pretty much what i do for every emotion though.


21. Fall or Spring? Spring--everything comes to life again. It smells good and the world looks pretty again.

25. When was the last time you cried? Last week on vacation, i was thinking of Marie and i missed her a lot, so i cried.

28. What did you do last night? watched part of Sin City, left to watch Family Guy. Goofed around with Jason, went to bed.

31. What are you afraid of? CLOWNS! also, jumping off of things and roller coasters.

32. Plain, cheese or spicy hamburgers? i must add to this one--cheese and bacon with sauteed onions!

33. Favorite car? anything that isn't a Mazda Protege!

34. Favorite dog breed? Mutts!!!

35. Number of keys on your key ring? Three keys--1 for the car, 1 for the house, 1 for parents' house--plus one keychain--my Norwegian Mickey Mouse head from Epcot.

36. How many years at your current job? 6 going on 7--WHEW!!

37. Favorite day of the week? i like thursday--cause there is only one more day until the weekend, and i can always get through a Friday!!

39. How many cities have you lived in/name them? 4-- West Milford, NJ /Nyack, NY/Bronx, NY/Highland Mills, NY

40.Sex or food? (What a strange question to end this survey with!) i prefer combining both!

Drinking survey

So, i totally stole this from my sister's best friend, nicole's blog (www.myspace.com/nixiemarie). i want others to steal it from me and fill it out on their blogs--then let me know when they have. Gosh, i am certainly bossy today!!

DRINKING SURVEY -
First time you ever drank: hmm, i recall drinking once--yes, only once--when i was in high school. It was at Matt Palasz's house. i don't remember what we had, but it was alcohol. We thought Jerk Sauce was the funniest thing on the planet!
The second time--which may have been the actual first time--was the eve of my 21st bday. my girlfriends and i went trick or treating (we went to rosie o'donnells house! she talked about trick or treating grownups the next day on her show(she did not like that one bit)--i think she was referring to us!!). after that, we went to OVI in Nyack and drank. The thing was, i wasn't allowed to drink because I went to Nyack College. I ran into someone on campus who was all "i can smell alcohol on your breath." i told him to go to hell--or something like that.

More of a beer or liquor person? LIQUOR!!! beer is gross for a zillion reasons!! the only "beer" i will drink is Twisted Tea--which isn't beer at all, but it is the same amount of alcohol. I like the hard stuff (giggle, she said hard).

Type of drunk you are: well, i know i get REAL flirt and i i have been known to flash on an occasion or fifteen!! then i fall asleep.

Ever been in an actual fight: Ugh, my poor husband--he deals with the brunt of my anger when i get drunk. SOmetimes, i pick random fights with him--God bless him!!

Favorite beer (if applicable): Twisted Teas. Back when i drank beer--coronas were pretty good.

.Favorite liquor: Rum and/or vodka. tequila on ocassion--never ever whisky or bourbon--YUCKY!!

More of a Bar or Club person: Oh, i am WAY too old for clubs!! i like going to hang out bars--the kind you don't need to dress up for. Even if i am spending the night in NYC, i will choose a hangin' out bar over a clubby bar. Although i do like gay bars--they are great to go out to!

Alcohol you absolutely despise: Whisky or bourbon--i said that already though!

Ever bought a stranger a drink: yeah, but they didn't stay a stranger for long--ha ha!

Been thrown out of a bar/club: YUP! i was in O'tooles in Spring Valley. i was drunk on my stool, I and the stool tipped right over onto the floor. We were all asked to leave and never return--oh well, their loss!!

Ever make out with someone in front of a cheering crowd: yup--note how someone is NOT gender specific?

Most amount of money spent in one bar/club: i have NO idea on this one.

Ever buy a round for random people: no freakin' way!! only for my own people!

Best song/band to hear while drinking: while i am not a fan, G & R seems to be good at a bar--Garth Brooks is also another good one.

Best city to drink in: i gotta say the Bronx (Riverdale) on this one--that is where most of my drinking friends are, there is always a place to crash, the bars are full of old irish people and a lot of those bars allow smoking after 11!!

Do you ever black out or forget what happened the night prior? sadly, yes. although as i get older, i try to have that happen less and less.

Ever been drunk around your parents: silly and tipsy-yes. Falling down, showing my boobs, fighting with my husband--NO WAY!

yeah, seriously, this is the cutest baby in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!! not to mention, you know MY niece has GOT to be playing with letters!!! 

Happy First Birthday (sorta--one month late) to the best and cutest baby in the entire wide world--and NO, i am not biased!!
